CAB CORROSION FIVE YEARS UNLIMITED MILES (AGAINST PERFORATION DUE TO CORROSION FROM WITHIN, OR RUST THROUGH). EXCLUDES SURFACE RUST CAUSED BY CHIPS OR SCRATCHES IN PAINT.

FRAME RAILS AND CROSSMEMBERS SIX YEARS OR 750,000 MILES (AGAINST BREAKAGE OR CRACKING).

TOWING/ ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE SIX MONTHS OR 50,000 MILES. MAXIMUM OF $450.00 PER OCCURRENCE (FOR TOWING OR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE). COVERS A FREIGHTLINER WARRANTABLE REPAIR THAT PREVENTS THE SAFE AND LAWFUL OPERATION OF THE VEHICLE.

SUMMARY OF ABOVE WARRANTY STATEMENTS ON FREIGHTLINER TRUCKS:

Towing and or road service coverages (beyond any shown above as standard) may also be available optionally, and may also be provided for by the engine manufacturer (to the extent that any may be provided for in their warranty statements) if a failure is determined to be an engine manufacturer's warrantable defect, any Freightliner coverage will not be applicable. The Freightliner towing/roadside assistance coverage refers only to failures not covered separately by the engine or component's manufacturer warranty (in other words, failures caused by an item normally covered under the Freightliner New Vehicle Warranty).

Tires (unless otherwise stated in the vehicle's or tire manufacturer's warranty certificates) are covered by the tire manufacturer.

Body Builder components or accessories that are not part of the "as delivered" Freightliner truck or glider (or not included in any components packaged separately and included with the Freightliner vehicle as delivered to the Body Builder) are not eligible for warranty coverage through Freightliner. Defects in materials or workmanship concerning items not provided or installed by Freightliner, or defects arising from workmanship defects attributed to the body company installation, or any modification of these items, will not be the responsibility of Freightliner. Defects of this type will be covered by any applicable warranty or policy that the Body Builder or installer may provide.

Alignments (following vehicle delivery to customer) and wheel/tire balancing is not covered by warranty, as these settings and conditions are subject to change during normal vehicle operation.

Fifth wheel adjustment of the locking mechanism, slide locking plungers, and the repair or replacement of lock guards are considered routine maintenance.

Batteries are covered 100% parts and labor for the first year or 100,000 miles, and some are then pro-rated (part only, no labor) for up to a maximum of 36 months. Optional coverage may also be available that may provide longer, or more extensive battery coverage. Speak to our Warranty or Sales Department for details on available batteries and available extended warranty coverages.

Exclusions and limitations summary: Routine maintenance items and consumables such as wiper blades, light bulbs, and items that are subject to consumption and replacement due to normal wear during their service lives such as clutch linings, brake friction material, floormats, filters and dessicant media or cartridges are not covered. Adjustments and tightening of loose fasteners will be covered for the first 25,000 miles or the first M1 service interval (whichever is greater). Axle flange gasket leaks not covered after 20,000 miles. Damage due to accidents or abuse is not covered, nor are items that are damaged by lack of reasonable care or cleaning, such as brightwork damaged by exposure to corrosive elements. Some components will be warranted for a longer period of time by their manufacturer. The Freightliner Legacy Class is a unique product recently introduced by Freightliner Selectrucks, and it also carries unique warranty coverages. It is essentially a Factory Remanufactured Conventional, with factory remanufactured major components.

BASIC WARRANTY IS ONE YEAR OR 100,000 MILES (COMPLETE VEHICLE). INCLUDES DRIVELINES AND U-JOINTS.

DRIVETRAIN COMPONENTS (A) TWO YEARS OR 200,000 MILES ON TRANSMISSION (EXCLUDES ALLISON), AND DRIVE AXLES (INCLUDING DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLIES, AXLE SHAFTS, AND AXLE HOUSINGS).

DRIVETRAIN COMPONENTS (B) THREE YEARS OR 300,000 MILES ON STEERING AXLE (BEAM, KINGPINS, SPINDLES, AND KINGPIN BEARINGS), ALSO STEERING ARM.

CAB STRUCTURE AND SHEET METAL (DOORS AND CONVENTIONAL HOODS) THREE YEARS OR 300,000 MILES. INCLUDES CAB STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS, SHEET METAL PANELS, AND SHEET MOLDED COMPOUND (SMC) HOOD.

CAB CORROSION 5 YEARS UNLIMITED MILES (AGAINST PERFORATION DUE TO CORROSION FROM WITHIN, OR RUST THROUGH). EXCLUDES SURFACE RUST CAUSED BY CHIPS OR SCRATCHES IN PAINT.
